Well that was 2011, Hello 2012

Like most people, the end of the year brings a bit of reflection of what's gone on in the last year, the ripple effects and how that shapes their future.

I've had probably the most turbulent year of my existence so far. Without trying to sound all Pwincess like, I do mostly live a charmed life. I like it, it suits me and there is not much I can complain about. However, as I said it's been a topsy turvy year for me. The biggest event was losing someone very close to me, very suddenly. As the months have passed things have become easier, but the first Christmas, the first New Year and all the other firsts brings it home to me, him not being here. Having said that life goes on, everyone loses someone close at some point in their lives. I refuse to feel sorry for myself. I also refuse to say what a terrible year it's been. Yes, I've been devastated by events but time is a continuum and life events wax and wane giving us an opportunity to look at life, what it means, what's important and how that should manifest in the future. I've always found that losing someone close actually ends up being life affirming. It makes me stop the mundane and go back to my bucket list. Look at what I've achieved and what's still to be achieved.

With all this in mind I've made a commitment to doing another major charity challenge next September. I'm heading off to follow the celebs and climb (or maybe crawl, depending on my fitness levels) Kilimanjaro. Like my last challenge I'm doing it for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I'll be doing a few more charity auctions of sessions as well as other creative session ideas for raising funds. All straightforward donations will gladly be accepted too. My fund raising target is £3750, given I raised around £3600 with the China Challenge then I'm very hopeful I can do it. I'm already on my way to getting the first £1000.

As far as kinkiness goes, I've got a few plans for this year, and a few investments to make before revealing those plans. Onwards and upwards.

So, here's to looking forward to the New Year and everything it brings.  I'd like to wish everyone a happy New Year with lots of kinkiness and pervery to go with that.
